The HUSH U20 emit a high-pitched sound that dogs can hear (being undetectable to humans) and effectively gets your dog to stop barking. How HUSH U20 Works
A short press of the one of the two buttons (standard or enhanced mode) emits ultrasonic sound waves. During the transmission, the green light will be on, and a friendly vibration will be triggered so you can feel that device is working. For safety the device automatically stops emitting after 10 seconds entering protection mode, which can be deactivated after releasing the button for 5 seconds.
Aiming the U20 must be free of any large obstacles, facing the dog and within 10M. NOTE the UB122 can operate up to 15M. You can use and boost ultrasound control using the enhanced mode if the dog ignores the regular mode and your commands.

Training tips
The best way to train your dog. If you want to correct your pet’s bad behaviour such as barking. Please follow the training tips below
Please be aware, that different breeds of dogs respond to ultrasonic device differently. For getting successful outcomes, use the device as a training aid along with other tools and commands, and most of all be patient.
Please use the ultrasonic button on the dog and the command "no" or "no bark" when barking.
When the dog stops barking praise the dog generously and immediately release the button.
Only use the boost enhanced ultrasound when you dog ignores the regular ultrasound.
Practice this training in different scenarios.
Important Safety Information
Do not point directly at human ears.
Do not shine the torch light (or strobe) in human eyes.
Do Not use for purposes other than training and protection.
Do not use on dogs under 6 months, on sick, old, pregnant, or aggressive dogs.

Trouble shooting
No response from the dog or no vibration felt:
Make sure the bark deterrent device is turned on (on/off button is on the side)
Make sure the device is fully charged. Press the ultrasonic button to test response. Try pressing the supersonic (enhanced ultrasonic)
Check whether there is anything blocking the ultrasonic transmission.
The ultrasonic effect will be weakened if the dogs ears are covered.
